Tuesday, October 21, 2008Autumn Leaves Happy Halloween! It's been a beautiful fall here in North Central Nowhere. My foot's coming along nicely, thank you, and it'll be back to work in a few weeks. My book of the month is one I haven't read yet, but it's on its way. Penny Porter writes some of the best essays there are--all about kids and animals and life in whatever warm place we call home. Some of those essays have been compiled in a book called Heartstrings & Tail-Tuggers. The book, which is hard to find now but will be re-released in March, is on its way and I can't wait!
